Since it’s founding in 1979, Pacific Financial Designs, Inc. (PFD) has been providing quality benefit programs to individual and group clients.
In 1983 PFD merged with the San Diego Cal-Western Life Insurance agency that was founded in 1931. With our long successful standing in the community it has been our privilege to provide benefits and solutions for some of the most successful individuals, companies and associations in California and Arizona.

- We can assist individuals with most of the planning challenges they will face (retirement planning, estate planning, business planning, insurance needs and strategizing to meet almost any financial objective).
- We are experienced in providing benefit information and coordinating services with human resources for labor associations of any size. Our consultative process helps identify needs of Associations and their members and design programs specifically tailored for each group. Our associates can assist in all levels of program enrollments and member consultation.
- We assist business owners with the creation and utilization of programs to ensure the continuation of the business and the replacement of key employees. Our understanding of current tax law allows us to design various key employee benefit programs (non-qualified deferred compensation plans and executive bonus plans). Our experience has enabled clients to design employee benefit programs that aid in the retention of employees.
